Cailyn Griffith

"What's past is prologue." Past hurts, habits, or regrets cannot be changed, but building understanding of how they have affected you—and learning new ways to handle things now—is the key to feeling and living more freely. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful change.

I earned my Master’s in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington and have six years of experience in crisis support and school settings, helping teens, adults, and families. I specialize in working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. I strongly believe in providing respectful and affirming care to all clients, including those who are neurodivergent or LGBTQ+.

My approach to counseling is rooted in a person-centered perspective because there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy. I integrate tools from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to meet the unique needs of each person I work with.
